The Race for the Arts is historically one of our largest summer events where we raise significant funds from both sponsors and families with children attending the French Woods Festival of the Performing Arts.
For the 2023-2024 school year, HFWAA will help several college students in need and committed to a career in the arts with either their tuition or room and board.
This year our 4k Race for the Arts will be on the grounds of French Woods Festival of the Performing Arts. Everyone can run, walk, volunteer or cheer as we bring fitness, fun and community together.
The funds raised from this event are specifically designated towards college scholarships to benefit passionate students committed to a career in the arts who are in need of last chance funding. We offer these students a hand up rather than a handout.
Thank you to our official sponsors for the 10th Annual 4k Race for the Arts: Virtual Edition!
A partnership with HFWAA provides an opportunity to reach our dynamic French Woods community of both young families and alumni. Sponsors of the HFWAA Race for the Arts gain exposure to more than 10,000 individuals worldwide who are connected to the French Woods Community on social media, online on our websites, and who receive our Camper and Alumni Edition Newsletter. Our reach globally with these special virtual events can extend to individuals outside of the French Woods Community and offer them the opportunity to participate in this event. In addition, sponsors will have the opportunity to have their logos on our website, and for our Race's, scrolling banner ads of an image of their choosing on our official app (Race Joy) that tracks our participants and spectators during the Race for the Arts: Virtual Edition.
All donations and sponsorships are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.
